The Escondido Music And Art Company Lessons Policy

1. Please be reasonable. Life happens.  We try our best to recognize that in the hopes that you do as well!

2. Give us a 24-hour notice prior to your scheduled lesson time for non-emergency cancellations.  We will do the same if our teachers are unable to make a lesson for whatever reason. Any lessons missed without the 24-hour notice are not subject to makeups or refunds.

3. If you are sick but can do a virtual lesson, please contact your teacher at least 24 hours in advance to see whether a virtual lesson is a viable option.

4. Please communicate. Being informed is good to ensure the quality of your lessons! Being informed is achieved through communication.

5. If your child is being uncooperative in the lesson in any capacity, the teacher has the right to end the lesson. A refund will not be issued.

6. Practice. Practice. And practice!  Any craft requires dedication and effort at home. If a pupil is not practicing on a continuous basis, the teacher has the option to discontinue lessons. If you are struggling to get your child to practice, please talk to your instructor. We have a lot of experience with this issue and are here to help!

7. The studio is open on a 28-day cycle allotting for four lessons per month (once a week). Any 29th, 30th, or 31st days the studio will be closed.

8. Seriously, though, be reasonable. It is worth saying twice.

Tuition And Makeup Policy Agreement

1. Lessons are paid for in four week increments via autopay on the last day of every month for the following month. For example, charges made on March 31st will be for lessons taking place in April.

3. If a teacher is to miss a lesson, they will provide a substitute or a makeup day. If a student is unable to make the makeup day, they may sign up for a group theory, a group composition, or a group art class with a minimum 48-hour notice prior to the respective group classes.

4. To ensure continuity in teacher pay, as well as maintaining your designated lesson time, there is a fee of 50% one month's tuition to pause lessons for a one-month interval. To ensure continuity in teacher pay, there will also be a fee of 50% one month's tuition to discontinue lessons.
